Jagex and Laced Records invite you to celebrate 25 years of RuneScape music with this collector’s vinyl set.

Commemorating a quarter of a century’s Scaping, this box set captures the atmosphere, emotion, and unmistakable character of RuneScape and Old School RuneScape.

This carefully curated tracklist feels archival and timeless, offering a sonic journey through Gielinor that reflects the many adventures experienced by millions of players. It was no small task given that RuneScape holds the Guinness World Record for Most Original Pieces of Music in a video game.

Across five LPs, the collection traces RuneScape’s musical evolution from its earliest, indelible, MIDI-based themes to the instrumentally richer, more expansive compositions of later years. From the iconic opening bars of the RuneScape theme to the unmistakable cheer of Sea Shanty 2, these tracks have soundtracked first logins, early quests, voyages from Port Sarim to Karamja, and victories over some of the game’s toughest bosses.

The collection concludes with music that transcends the different versions of the game, highlighting the connection between RuneScape’s eras, and reinforcing a coherent, long-running musical identity.

The set’s artwork draws from the iconic visual language of RuneScape, including detailed cartographic elements of Gielinor and inner sleeves celebrating iconic bosses with original artwork from community artist Enkoro.

FAQs

Do you ship to my location?

The store you are currently on (www.lacedrecords.com) only
ships to the USA & Canada.

Please visit www.lacedrecords.co if you are based anywhere else.

I’m based in Canada. Will I have to pay any customs or import duties?

Orders from this store ship from the USA. For customers ordering to Canada, packages may be subject to customs and import duties. Laced Records has no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Contact your local customs office for further information.

When do I pay for pre-orders? At the time of ordering? Or when it ships?

All pre-orders are charged at the time of ordering to avoid credit card or bank account surprises in future.

How can I find out what the shipping costs will be for my order?

All shipping costs are calculated and clearly displayed as you go through the checkout process. You can also use our shipping calculator on the shopping cart page to estimate shipping costs to your address.

I see Laced Records has two websites, which should I use?

Laced operates two web stores, which correspond to our two warehouses:
- lacedrecords.com (with an ‘m’) for US and Canada-based customers (US warehouse)
- lacedrecords.co (without an ‘m’) for all other territories (UK warehouse)

The websites should automatically redirect site visitors from one to the other if they visit the wrong site. This is important, because if you try to order from the incorrect site, you may be charged significantly higher shipping fees, as well as customs duties.

Orders shipping to Canada from this store may still face customs duties, as these ship from the US. These extra fees are beyond Laced Records’ control, and may require further research by the customer.

If you use a VPN, this may confuse the geo redirect, so please ensure you are using the correct website if you plan on purchasing something.

How long are your pre-order windows?

Unless we explicitly state otherwise, we don’t run set pre-order windows that finish on a particular date.

Customers usually have a few days to a few weeks from announcement to be assured of securing a pre-order. After that, pre-order products might sell out, especially Limited Edition variants.

When a product is sold out, sometimes a small amount of overstock becomes available once it has shipped and replacements are accounted for.

What does ‘Limited Edition’ actually mean?

A Limited Edition ‘variant’ refers to a unique disc colour combination (or ‘colourway’) that will only see one pressing, and is exclusively sold through the Laced Records stores (lacedrecords.com for US and Canada; lacedrecords.co for outside the US.)

Once that pressing is sold out, that variant or colourway will not be repressed (hence ‘limited’.) However, that vinyl set might see a Standard Edition (black disc) repress, or additional exclusive/limited editions in future.

Our philosophy is that, where possible, the first pressing should be the most special in terms of disc design.
